Please note: I do not fill spaces on a first come, first served basis however, once I receive notice of an upcoming vacancy (generally 1-2+ months in advance), I go through my waitlist and see whose needs fit with the upcoming vacancy and then reach out to those families to confirm they still need care and schedule an interview. I interview the potential families and look for one that I feel is the best fit for my day home. Families I can communicate well with is extremely important for me, families with similar parenting styles, schedules, etc. Also having children close in age with similar interests are also things I consider.
