Meals & Snacks

I serve lunch and two snacks daily.
Please note that I am not able to provide a peanut and gluten free environment.

Morning Snack
​Served around 8:30 am

We have fruit with a grain product & yogurt, cheese or milk. The children love muffins, banana bread, crackers, etc. This meal time often looks like breakfast.

Lunch
​Served around 11:30 am

Our lunches consist of 4+ food groups & our absolute favourite lunch is some variation of breakfast. 

Afternoon Snack
Served around 3:15 pm

Afternoon is similar to morning snack with fruit, a grain & yogurt, cheese or milk. Sometimes I make the children fruit & vegetable smoothies too.

We enjoy a variety of fruits &/or vegetables with each meal served. 

Some of our favourite fruits are apples, strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, watermelon, bananas, oranges, grapes, pineapple and pears. We use a mix of frozen & fresh fruit for our smoothies. 

Some of our favourite vegetables are cucumber, corn, peas, snap peas, celery, bell peppers and mixed vegetables. I offer tomato and avocado fairly often but we are still working to love those.  I also add avocado to our smoothies as well.
