Beginning April 1, 2025, Alberta’s government is introducing an Affordability Funding Program for childcare where full and part time childcare costs are a flat parent fee province wide, for children zero to kindergarten age. These fees are equivalent to $15/day and Alberta’s government will continue to pay an average of 80% of your childcare costs each month. Children who attend care less than 50 hours per month are not eligible for the new program and my drop-in rates are noted below. Children who are in grade 1+ are not eligible for the new program either however subsidy is still available to those who qualify.
Drop-in Care: 0-49 hours of care each month. (This does not fall under the new Affordability Funding program)
$10.90/hour, with a maximum of $70.85/day
Fees are collected the following month by my agency
Agency fee of 9% is included
Hourly care will be rounded up to the next 15-minute interval (e.g., 3 hours & 50 minutes will be considered 4 hours, or 2 hours & 10 minutes will be considered 2 hours 15 minutes).
24 hours' notice is required to cancel drop-in care, or full fees will still apply
Before & After School Care for Grades 1+: (This does not fall under the new Affordability Funding program)
$654/month (includes transportation)
Agency fee of 9% is included
Includes 1 PL day per month. Additional PL days, school holidays or any other days your child is missing school, there will be an extra fee if $16.35/per day. (Excluding summer holidays which will be charged at the current, full time rate.)
Availability for additional days is not guaranteed, as I may have already booked other children based on your child’s school schedule
Additional Fees
Agency fees are included in the rates above.
